After I read the daily post’s prompt for today, I said: I will not response to this prompt! but after few minutes, I found a friend of mine on Facebook put a status about her son and that he removed her from his friends list! For the first sight, the idea is funny, the reason is that his mother talks much about politics, and he is afraid about his future if he decided to stay outside Lebanon. The mother got mad but she loves his way of thinking.
Actually, I’ve been thinking about being friends with my family or relatives on Facebook. What’s the idea of putting someone you live with him or her on your Facebook list? I mean what’s the point if you know this person what is he doing, or eating, or when did he left home to work, or all the specific details, and you are seeing him face to face 24 hours a day?? I really got confused of this idea sometimes, because it happens that you wrote a status that doesn’t comfort the second party, and you have to delete that status, otherwise, you’ll be asked for what you said for a long time! I see Facebook as a place for friends from different countries, or those who can’t see each other physically, but why should others who live with or meet always, be on Facebook?!
One day, I’ll remove all the people who are from my family and relatives from my Facebook!
